Navarre Beach Regency

Navarre Beach Regency is a Gulf-front condominium building at 8525 Gulf Boulevard on Navarre Beach, a short walk west of the Navarre Beach Pier. The nine-story building dates to the late 1990s and sits on about 400 feet of Gulf frontage, with just over 100 condos. Navarre Beach occupies a short developed stretch of Santa Rosa Island between protected lands, with the Gulf Islands National Seashore to the west, which gives the town a smaller and calmer feel than larger beach destinations.

Units are mainly two and three bedroom plans and are often described as some of the more spacious condos on the island. Nine foot ceilings and floor to ceiling sliding glass doors open onto extra-large balconies that are reached from both the living room and the main bedroom. Most units have been renovated.

Shared amenities include a beachfront pool with a large deck, a fitness center, a clubhouse with a full kitchen and meeting room, charcoal grills and picnic areas, and a dune walkover to the beach. There are four elevators, keyless entry, covered parking and a covered loading zone, with on-site management. Seasonal lounge chairs and umbrellas can be rented on the beach.

Navarre Beach Regency condos are individually owned and rented through their owners and several rental companies. The association does not permit pets, and beach service, parking and furnishings vary by unit, so check each listing before booking. Summer on Navarre Beach usually brings calm, clear water over white sand. From May through October the beach is a sea turtle nesting area, so lights facing the Gulf are kept low at night and beach gear should be picked up each evening.

The Navarre Beach Pier and the nearby Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary, with snorkeling reefs close to shore, are within walking distance. The Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center, restaurants near the causeway and Sage Paddle Company rentals are a few minutes away, and Pensacola’s Naval Air Station and the National Naval Aviation Museum make an easy day trip. Navarre Beach Regency suits families who want a roomy condo in a less crowded building close to the pier.
