Ramada by Wyndham Panama City is a four-story hotel at 4306 West Highway 98, on the west side of Panama City a few minutes before the Hathaway Bridge. St. Andrews Bay is a three minute walk, Gulf Coast State College is just over half a mile, and St. Andrews State Park is about 20 minutes away by car. The Panama City Beach attractions, Pier Park and Gulf World are all within a reasonable drive west.
A free hot breakfast is served daily from 6:30 to 10 am, a longer window than at many hotels nearby. Rooms have 32 inch flat screen TVs, microwaves and refrigerators. The hotel has an outdoor pool with umbrellas, a fitness center, a business center, a snack shop and guest laundry, and there is coffee in the lobby.
Parking and Wi-Fi are free. Pets are not allowed, though service animals are welcome. The building has four floors, and the pool deck has umbrellas for shade on hot afternoons.
The Ramada suits families and couples who want breakfast included and an easy drive to the beach, visitors to the college and the university campus next door, and business travelers heading to the port. St. Andrews’ marina and restaurants are a few minutes east. Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is about 40 minutes by car, and downtown Panama City is roughly ten minutes away.
