Staybridge Suites Crestview South opened in 2026 on John King Road, just off State Road 85 south of Interstate 10 Exit 56, across the street from the Hampton Inn. The four-story extended-stay hotel has 102 suites in studio and one-bedroom layouts, and every suite has a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and cookware.

A hot breakfast is included daily, and The Social, the brand’s evening reception with light bites, is held several weeknights. There is an outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center and free on-site laundry, which is useful for guests staying a week or more. Parking and Wi-Fi are free. Up to two pets per suite are welcome, including larger dogs, for a per-stay fee.

The hotel is well positioned for Duke Field and Eglin Air Force Base to the south, and for the stores and restaurants of Crestview Commons about a mile north. Twin Hills Park, the Emerald Coast Zoo and Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park in Niceville are all within a reasonable drive, and Destin and Fort Walton Beach are about 45 minutes away.

It suits military families on temporary duty or relocation, traveling professionals and anyone who needs a kitchen and room to spread out. Being a block off SR 85 on a quiet side street also keeps it calmer than the properties that face the highway.
