Wingate by Wyndham Panama City Area Lynn Haven is a four-story, 69-room hotel on Lynn Haven Parkway (Highway 77) at 26th Street, in the city of Lynn Haven just north of Panama City. The Kaleidoscope Theater is about a ten minute walk. Linos Park and the Junior Museum of Bay County are within six miles, and the downtown Panama City marina, Gulf Coast State College and Port Panama City are all about 15 minutes away.
A free deluxe continental breakfast is served each morning from 6:30 to 9:30. The heated indoor pool, hot tub and sauna can be used in any season, and there is a fitness center, a 24-hour business center, meeting rooms and a banquet hall, plus guest laundry. Rooms have microwaves and refrigerators, and housekeeping is daily.
Parking is free and includes space for RVs, buses and trucks, and Wi-Fi is free and fast. Dogs up to 60 pounds are welcome, two per room, for a daily fee in designated rooms.
It suits business travelers, visiting sports teams and families in town for events who prefer a quieter residential setting to the beach strip, as well as travelers coming down US 231 from the north. The Panama City Beach sand is about 25 minutes away, and Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is roughly a half hour drive.
