About

Grayton Beach’s most famous address, The Red Bar is a gloriously cluttered shrine of vintage posters, red lights, and live jazz that has anchored Hotz Avenue since 1995. The menu is short and hasn’t changed much in decades — crawfish and shrimp pasta, blackened grouper, chicken piccata — because it doesn’t need to. Rebuilt by the community after a 2019 fire, it reopened even more itself than before. Cash only for years, quirky forever, and absolutely essential.
