Cafe Thirty-A has been feeding the Emerald Coast since 1995, long enough that Visit South Walton, the region’s official tourism site, lists it among the first restaurants to open along Scenic Highway 30A. The dining room sits about a mile and a half east of Seaside and roughly six and a half miles west of Rosemary Beach, a location that let it grow up alongside 30A itself, from a quiet two-lane beach road into the vacation corridor it is today.

The kitchen has always leaned toward casual fine dining, built around a contemporary, eclectic menu that changes daily rather than settling into a fixed rotation. Regulars know to plan around a couple of standing specials: the Daily Boho, which runs from 4:30 to 5 p.m. and offers a second entree of equal or lesser value at half price, and ‘Tini Night on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., when martinis in the bar drop to six dollars. The restaurant also welcomes guests who bring their own bottle for a standard corkage fee, hosts private events such as its “Soiree on the Bay,” and throws an annual Christmas Charity Ball that has become a fixture on the local social calendar.

Cafe Thirty-A is open nightly starting at 4:30 p.m. until close, with valet parking available seasonally for guests who would rather not hunt for a spot on a busy summer evening. Reservations are required for dinner, a detail worth remembering during peak season when tables along this stretch of 30A fill up fast. Locally owned since day one and still serving fine wines and martinis in a room built for lingering over a meal, Cafe Thirty-A remains one of Seagrove Beach’s most dependable tables for a dressed-up dinner that still feels like it genuinely belongs to the neighborhood rather than to a passing trend.

Its address on East Scenic Highway 30A also puts it squarely inside the Seagrove neighborhood that Visit South Walton describes as blending old-school Gulf Coast charm with quiet luxury, shaded by oak trees and magnolias and stitched together by the 18.5 mile Timpoochee Trail that runs along the highway for walkers and cyclists.
