WoodSpring Suites Fort Walton Beach – Eglin AFB is an extended-stay hotel at 765 Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, on the west side of Fort Walton Beach near the Hurlburt Field end of town. Despite the Eglin name, the hotel places Eglin Air Force Base about 11 miles away; White Wilson Medical Center is about three miles and HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is also nearby, which makes it useful for medical stays and visiting family.
Expedia lists 122 rooms. Every studio has a full kitchen with a refrigerator and freezer, a two-burner cooktop and a microwave, plus a desk and dining table and a flat-screen TV. Interior corridors and a smoke-free policy are standard. Rooms also include free local calls.
