The Court

The Court occupies 215 Quincy Circle in Seaside, one block from the town center and a short walk from the beach. The property began as Seaside’s Motor Court and was fully renovated into a boutique hotel of eight bungalows, with exteriors refreshed and interiors furnished by Serena & Lily. It is set around a landscaped garden with outdoor seating, and it operates as an adults-only retreat, with every unit designed for a maximum of two guests.

There are three styles of accommodation. Queen Rooms have a queen bed, a private porch, white marble floors and a glass rainfall shower. Garden Bungalows have a canopy king bed, and the Ivory Tower is a three-story king suite. Bedding is from Peacock Alley, and rooms include a Nespresso coffee bar in place of a breakfast service. One designated bungalow, The Court 9, accepts a single pet under 50 pounds.

Much of the appeal is what comes with the stay. Each room gets a complimentary Cabana Man beach setup of chairs and an umbrella during the season, and guests receive two bicycles through the Seaside Transit Authority for getting around town and along the 30A bike path. Guests also have access to Seaside’s community pools, which open from 8 a.m. to dusk, and a fitness center. A concierge team helps with self parking on arrival, and after that most guests leave the car parked.

From the front door, the Seaside amphitheater, Central Square, the Airstream food trucks along 30A, Sundog Books and the Coleman Pavilion beach access are all on foot. WaterColor is next door to the west, and Grayton Beach State Park and Seagrove Beach are a short bike ride away. Check in is at 4 p.m. and check out at 10 a.m.

The Court suits couples and solo travelers who want to be inside Seaside’s walkable town plan without renting a whole cottage, and who value a small property with concierge help over resort facilities.
