Beachside Condo

Beachside Condo is a small Gulf-front condominium complex at 3692 E County Highway 30A in Seagrove Beach, set on top of the bluffs between Emerald Hill and Palms at Seagrove. The three-story buildings date to 1983 and sit directly on the Gulf of Mexico, with private beach access down to the sand. The complex sits among several other small bluff-top condo communities, and its height above the water gives even second-floor units a broad view of the Gulf.

There are 24 condos in the complex, most of them two bedroom, two bath units that sleep about six. Upper-floor units have balconies with open Gulf views, and several have been renovated with luxury vinyl flooring, quartz counters, new stainless appliances and walk-in showers. Rental companies note that the buildings have no elevator and that parking is limited to one car per unit, which is typical for the older walk-up complexes on this stretch of 30A.

Amenities are modest and focused on the pool and the beach. A fenced, lagoon-style community pool sits on the property with a shared patio, and there is private beach access for guests. Units are individually owned and rented through owners and several local rental companies, and some listings follow Saturday-to-Saturday turnover in the busy season. Extras such as beach chair service, pet rules and bedding layouts vary by unit. Walton County’s Leave Only Footprints rules apply on the beach, so chairs and umbrellas must be removed from the sand each evening, and outdoor lights are kept low during sea turtle nesting season from May through October.

Beachside Condo is well placed for exploring the middle of 30A. Local shops and restaurants are about a block away along 30A, and Seaside is a short bike ride west on the Timpoochee Trail, the paved path that runs the length of the highway. WaterColor, Grayton Beach and Grayton Beach State Park are a little farther west, while Watersound, Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach are a short drive east. Deer Lake State Park offers a quieter beach and a dune lake boardwalk. Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is about forty minutes east, and Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport is roughly an hour west.

Beachside Condo suits couples and small families who want a simple Gulf-front stay with a pool, close to Seaside, and who do not need an elevator or resort amenities. Its small size keeps the pool and beach access quiet compared with larger complexes nearby.
