Days Inn by Wyndham Fort Walton Beach sits at 135 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, on US-98 a short way west of downtown Fort Walton Beach. The Brooks Bridge to Okaloosa Island is about a mile east, so the Gulf beaches, the Gulfarium and the Boardwalk are only a few minutes’ drive away.
Expedia lists 59 rooms on two floors in a classic motor-inn layout with no elevator. Rooms come in one-king or two-queen setups and include a refrigerator, with microwaves available on request. The property was renovated in January 2024. Rooms measure about 350 square feet, and a hearing-accessible room is available.
A free light breakfast with coffee, tea and juice is set out each morning. The outdoor pool is joined by a children’s pool, and Wi-Fi is free. Parking costs nothing and has room for buses, trucks and RVs, which is handy for anglers towing a boat or families on a road trip. Pets are allowed, up to two, for a nightly fee plus a deposit.
The motel suits budget travelers, sports teams and families who want to be close to the island without island prices. Santa Rosa Mall, Big Kahuna’s Water Park, go-kart tracks and mini golf are all nearby. Check-in is at 3 pm and check-out is at 11 am. Kids stay free under the brand policy.
