Hilton lists the Gulfarium about 1.8 miles away across the Brooks Bridge and Beasley Park, with its beach access on Okaloosa Island, about 1.9 miles away. The hotel has 82 rooms in Tru’s compact, modern style, with connecting rooms available and digital key entry through the Hilton Honors app. The lobby is the social hub, with work space, a game zone and a 24/7 market for snacks and drinks. Rooms are non-smoking, and a smoking fee applies if the policy is broken.

A free breakfast is included every morning. There is an outdoor pool, a fitness center with a hydration station and a business center. Self parking is free. Dogs and cats are welcome, up to two per room, for a non-refundable fee that depends on length of stay.

Navarre Beach is about nine miles west for a quieter beach day.
