Balance Health Studio
About
Balance Health Studio anchors the wellness side of the little campus its owners have built in Seagrove Beach, standing next door to their organic cafe, Prema, right on Scenic Highway 30A. The studio has served the 30A community for more than two decades, making it one of the longest-running wellness practices in the area, and it is led by Dr. Bart Precourt, a chiropractor, licensed acupuncturist, and functional medicine practitioner with almost 30 years in private practice. He built Balance around a simple mission: make health simple, whether that means a spinal adjustment, a needle, a nutrition plan, or a yoga class.
The clinical side of Balance covers a lot of ground under one roof. Dr. Bart offers full spine chiropractic adjustments and applied kinesiology, traditional acupuncture for acute and chronic conditions, functional nutrition consultations paired with lab testing and supplement recommendations, intuitive energetic healing and reiki, and sound wave therapy for cellular-level recovery. It is the kind of full-spectrum care that usually requires separate appointments scattered across town, consolidated instead into one Seagrove Beach studio just steps from the sand.

Yoga is where Balance has built its biggest local following. The studio has been voted the number one yoga studio on 30A, and it runs classes with a roster of 15 or more instructors certified through Yoga Alliance, trained across Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Iyengar, and restorative traditions. The weekly schedule mixes vinyasa flow, gentle yoga, an advanced “spicy flow,” restorative and yin sessions, and active breathwork classes, with more than 15 classes offered each week. Walk-ins are welcome, though advance registration is recommended since classes fill quickly, and first-timers are asked to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to settle in.

Dr. Bart’s reach extends past the treatment room. He hosts the Health Made Simple Show, a podcast that has passed 275 episodes and more than 50,000 downloads, and he speaks to entrepreneurs, mastermind groups, and healthcare professionals about wellness and performance. He runs Balance alongside his wife, Kelli Precourt, a former United States Olympic field hockey player from the 1996 team, whose competitive discipline shows up in the studio’s approach to training and recovery. Together the couple also operates Prema next door and The Dog Kula, a wholesome dog food company, giving Seagrove Beach an unusually connected little wellness corner.
Balance keeps accessible hours for a boutique studio, open weekday mornings through early afternoon, Saturday mornings, and Sunday mornings, with appointments recommended for chiropractic, acupuncture, and nutrition sessions. Under the studio’s own tagline, “Clear Mind. Strong Body. Free Spirit,” visitors along 30A can drop in for a single yoga class or build an entire wellness day around chiropractic care, acupuncture, and a smoothie next door at Prema when the session wraps up.
The lab testing and lifestyle consultation side of the practice gives Balance an edge over a typical vacation-town studio: rather than treating symptoms in isolation, Dr. Bart’s functional nutrition consultations use lab work to build a personalized supplement and dietary plan, an approach that mirrors the same whole-body philosophy that shaped Prema’s kitchen next door. Combined with sound wave therapy for cellular recovery and the studio’s energy healing and reiki sessions, Balance positions itself less as a spa stop and more as a full wellness resource for the 30A community, one that both weekly visitors and year-round Seagrove Beach residents can return to on the same afternoon they book a massage or grab a smoothie.
