High-intensity Lagree Method low-impact

About

Lagree30A is a Lagree Method fitness studio located above Starbucks in WaterSound Town Center, offering high-intensity, low-impact workouts on Megaformer machines for all fitness levels. The studio occupies the second floor at 74 Origins Main Street, Suite 201, and can be reached at 850-716-0029, putting it just steps from Art of Fact(s), Starbucks, and the rest of the town center’s growing retail row.

Owner Stephanie Wiesel spent more than 15 years working in interior architecture and design before she discovered Lagree while living in Atlanta and got hooked after a single class, noticing a real change in muscle tone that no other workout had produced for her. After relocating to 30A in 2020, she found that the nearest dedicated Lagree studio sat more than two hours away in any direction, so she started teaching similar slow-resistance classes at another local studio while she looked for the right space to open her own. When a second-floor unit above the new Starbucks at WaterSound Town Center came available, with exposed concrete floors, an outdoor balcony, tall ceilings, and abundant natural light, she found the blank canvas her design background had been waiting for. As she puts it, the studio let her marry her two favorite things, interior design and Lagree.

Lagree30A celebrated its grand opening over Memorial Day weekend in 2026 and now runs on 16 state-of-the-art MegaPro machines, part of the patented Lagree Method used in more than 500 studios worldwide. The machines rely on a weighted spring resistance system that keeps muscles under constant tension through slow, controlled movements, fatiguing slow-twitch and fast-twitch fibers alike for the kind of shake that regulars know signals real progress. The studio runs roughly 60 classes a week, seven days a week, with modifications offered for every fitness level and a handful of men’s-only sessions built into the schedule. Grip socks are required for safety since loose clothing and bare skin should not make contact with the machine’s springs, and newcomers are asked to arrive about ten minutes early to get oriented on the machine before class starts.

Beyond the workout itself, the studio adds small luxuries that fit its design pedigree, including chilled lavender towels, beverages, and protein bars for after class, plus a mobile app for booking on iOS or Android and flexible options ranging from a first-time drop-in to unlimited monthly memberships and multi-class packs. A 12-hour cancellation policy keeps the small class sizes fair to everyone on the waitlist, and the studio asks guests to skip loose, baggy clothing so nothing catches on the springs mid-class.

For visitors renting nearby for a week, dropping in for a single class is an easy way to keep a strength routine going without ever leaving 30A, and locals treat the studio as a regular reset between beach days. Wiesel has said she eventually plans to add virtual memberships and additional locations, but for now the WaterSound studio, with its balcony views and abundant natural light, stands as the clearest expression yet of her original idea: a fitness studio that looks and feels as considered as the workout itself.
